Organic Chamomile Flower Tea

Cup of sunshine, anyone? It doesn’t get sunnier than this beautiful organic German chamomile (Matricaria recutita) and the list of herbal actions is a long one. Relaxing anti inflammatory, anti allergenic, antifungal, pain relieving, anti viral, decongestant, diaphoretic and more. It has bitter properties which stimulate the liver and gall bladder. Of great benefit for gut and nerves with a taste I can only describe as mildly honey and apple like with bitter notes which will increase the longer it is steeped. I make a divine lemon infused Greek honey which is just perfect when added to chamomile tea.
